Originally developed for the Filipinos in the diaspora, this offering seeks to engage new communities through a hands-on experience grounded in cultural preservation, creativity, and connection.

The workshop begins with a gentle body-awareness practice designed to prepare participants for the creative process. Participants are then introduced to the fundamentals of handbuilding and guided through the creation of a miniature palayok vessel.

As participants work with clay, the workshop creates space for open dialogue, shared reflection, and personal exploration.
