Nachdem wir am 21.05.2022 den Anruf aus dem B\u00fcro des Wiener B\u00fcrgermeisters und Landeshauptmanns Dr. Michael Ludwig und einen Termin bei ihm erhalten hatten, war es heute soweit: Mitglieder des Sentro-Teams, vertreten von den beiden Herausgeber:innen Arlene und Ralph sowie Gerard, \u00fcberbrachten Dr. Ludwig vor Ort in seinem B\u00fcro sein eigenes Buch-Exemplar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Aber der Reihe nach: Nachdem wir nicht gleich das B\u00fcro des B\u00fcrgermeisters gefunden haben, hat uns ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter letztendlich im Haus eingefangen und zum Wartezimmer gebracht. Dort wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. In einer entspannten Athmosph\u00e4re verflog unsere Aufregung schnell und in einem offenen Gespr\u00e4ch konnten wir sowohl das Buch als auch Sentro und seine Projekte vorstellen. Im weiteren Verlauf stellte Dr. Ludwig sehr viele Fragen \u00fcber die philippinische Community, \u00fcber deren Geschichte(n) und W\u00fcnsche. Wir hatten nat\u00fcrlich nicht so viel gemeinsame Zeit, um auf alle diese Fragen einzugehen, jedoch war uns insbesondere wichtig, die Sichtbarkeit der hier lebenden Filipin@s und vor allem der hier geborenen zweiten und dritten Generation in den Vordergrund zu r\u00fccken. Dr. Ludwig war wirklich sehr interessiert und daher haben wir ihn zu weiteren Projekten von Sentro und zu Veranstaltungen der philippinischen Community eingeladen. Zum Abschluss des Termins haben wir ihm als Dankesch\u00f6n ein <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zentrum-oep.at\/?p=1220\"><strong>Exemplar unseres Buches<\/strong><\/a> \u00fcberreicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass sich Dr. Ludwig trotz unserer sp\u00e4ten Ankunft viel Zeit f\u00fcr uns genommen und uns mit gro\u00dfem Interesse zugeh\u00f6rt hat. Dieses Treffen war eine Best\u00e4tigung f\u00fcr die Arbeit des Sentro-Teams und der Buchautor:innen, die all diese ehrenamtlich und mit gro\u00dfem Einsatz leisten.
